Baemin Provides Rider Safety Gear for Five Consecutive Years with Four Seasons Safety Support Campaign

Over 50,000 Seasonal Safety Items Distributed to Baemin Connect Riders
Woowa Brothers Youth Continues Five-Year Campaign for Safer Deliveries

On June 18, Woowa Brothers Youth, the company responsible for the logistics services of Baemin (Baedal Minjok), announced that it will run the "Four Seasons Safety Support Campaign" in cooperation with the Ministry of Employment and Labor. Through this campaign, Baemin Connect riders will receive free summer safety items such as rain gear sets, delivery vests, and cool scarves to prepare for the heatwave and rainy season.

The seasonal supply of items by Woowa Brothers Youth is designed to provide riders with the necessary equipment for safe deliveries in various environments and to encourage safe delivery practices. In particular, the items have been selected based on field surveys and meetings with riders to ensure they are genuinely helpful for delivery work. This time, Woowa Brothers Youth will provide approximately 4,000 Baemin Connect riders with the following safety items: the "Baemin Rain Gear Set," developed in collaboration with Korea's leading rain gear brand; the "Baemin Vest Light Fit," which enhances breathability and mobility; and the "Cool Scarf," which offers comfort even in hot weather.

Baemin Provides Rider Safety Gear for Five Consecutive Years with Four Seasons Safety Support Campaign

The seasonal item support program for Baemin Connect riders has been ongoing for five years. Since 2021, Woowa Brothers Youth has provided essential delivery items free of charge to riders during both the heatwave and cold seasons for five consecutive years, continuously improving the delivery environment. In particular, by supplying delivery items that either have a short replacement cycle or contribute to safer driving when kept on hand twice a year, the company has reduced the financial burden on riders and taken the lead in creating a safer delivery environment. To date, approximately 50,000 safety items worth about 2 billion KRW have been distributed.

A representative from Woowa Brothers Youth stated, "Since outdoor activities require extra caution during the summer due to heatwaves and the rainy season, we decided to provide delivery supplies for the heatwave to support the safe operation of our riders. As the safety of our riders is our top priority, we will continue to run effective safety support campaigns for our rider partners in the future."
