This year marks the fifth edition of the event, which is the largest electric vehicle festival in the UK. Around 100 vehicles will compete to maximize energy efficiency along a route of approximately 100 kilometers, stretching from central London to the Brighton coast.

Hankook Tire will showcase its world-first electric vehicle-exclusive tire brand, "iON," at the E-Village set up along the Brighton coast. The company plans to highlight its technological prowess to visitors through products such as the performance tire "iON Evo," the winter tire "iON i*cept," and the all-weather tire "iON FlexClimate."

The "GEN3 Evo," the third-generation race car from the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship?regarded as the world’s premier electric vehicle racing series and organized by the F?d?ration Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), for which Hankook Tire is the exclusive supplier of electric racing tires?will also be on display.

Hankook Tire is accelerating its efforts to penetrate the UK market, which is one of the key hubs for electric vehicles in Europe. The "iON" product lineup is known for achieving the optimal balance among core performance features such as outstanding energy efficiency, grip, mileage, low noise, and reduced rolling resistance. It has become widely recognized by local consumers as a leading global electric vehicle tire brand.

Last year, the "iON Evo" won two top honors at the "2024 WhatTyre Awards" hosted by the prominent UK tire media outlet "WhatTyre," earning both "Tire of the Year" and "Electric Vehicle Tire of the Year." In 2022, the brand also ranked first in the social media ranking for tire brands announced by the local tire magazine Tirepress.
