Musical actor Kim Seunghoe (Intermission) has achieved four consecutive complete game wins. This is a remarkable record that has only occurred once in the 44-year history of Korean professional baseball.
Intermission's ace, the "submarine pitcher" Kim Seunghoe, recorded his fourth consecutive complete game win (5 innings, 4 hits allowed, 3 runs, 6 strikeouts) in the 9th week match of the 19th Hanstar Celebrity Baseball League for The Kim Law Firm Cup against P.O.M, held at Goyang Janghang Baseball Stadium on June 16. Kim Seunghoe started and secured victories in all four games for his team.
An individual record of "four consecutive complete game wins" has only been achieved once in the 44-year history of professional baseball. The only instance was by Jang Myungbu of the Sammi Superstars, who set an unprecedented record of eight consecutive complete game wins from May 8 to May 29, 1983.
For teams, "four consecutive complete game wins" has been recorded only four times in professional baseball history since the Sammi Superstars achieved it in 1983. The most recent was in 2012, when the KIA Tigers tied the record with four consecutive complete game wins by starting pitchers (including shutouts). At that time, the record was set sequentially by Seo Jaeung, Kim Jinwoo, Yoon Sukmin, and Henry Sosa.

Kim Seunghoe earned his first complete game win of the season on April 21 against Cheonhamujeok, pitching 7 innings, allowing 6 hits and 1 run (1 earned), with 3 walks and 2 strikeouts. He followed up with a second complete game win on May 12 against Albatross, pitching 6 innings, allowing 3 hits and 1 run (unearned), with 4 walks and 9 strikeouts. On June 2, Kim Seunghoe continued his streak with a dominant performance against BMB, recording 15 strikeouts over 7 innings, allowing 3 hits and 2 runs, marking his third consecutive complete game win.
