On June 17, the Busan Regional Veterans Office (Director Namil Lee) held the inauguration ceremony for the memorial facility supporters group 'Girinarae' at Busan Foreign Language High School (Principal Chulhoi Choi) and presented appointment certificates to participating students.

'Girinarae' means "honoring our past and soaring toward everyone's future." The newly appointed supporters consist of Busan Foreign Language High School students interested in history and veterans affairs. They will take the lead in promoting the value of memorial facilities and fostering patriotism.

One participating student shared, "I learned the significance of memorial facilities and realized how important it is for our generation not to forget the past."

Namil Lee, Director of the Busan Regional Veterans Office, said, "It is very meaningful for students to visit memorial facilities themselves and actively promote their value. I hope that through Girinarae's activities, more citizens will take an interest in these memorial sites."

The 'Girinarae' supporters group will carry out activities throughout the year. They plan to introduce memorial facilities and contribute to the spread of veterans culture through various methods, including promoting content on social media, hands-on experiences, and environmental cleanup initiatives.
