The Office of Education is currently focusing on several key initiatives: Neulbom Education, 2030 Classroom, Jeonnam Student Education Allowance, Education Development Special Zones, and Glocal Education. These policies emphasize autonomous responses at the local level and proactive participation from the educational community, with repeated emphasis that meticulous on-site execution is the key to success. In particular, this policy council meeting centered on 'strengthening communication between the main office, affiliated organizations and education support offices, and schools,' specifically reviewing the roles of each institution. The main focus was to explore ways to enhance the practical implementation of major policies.

Kim Oknan, Director of the Jeonnam Education Information Research Institute, stated, "The 12 affiliated organizations are operating Glocal Jeonnam Education programs for students, faculty, and local residents, focusing on empathy and hands-on experience." She proposed collaboration plans for each institution to connect field-oriented programs such as reading and humanities education, student-led classes, and bilingual education.

Kwon Sunyong, Chief of Boseong Education Office, said, "To stably support the school field, education policies must be operated autonomously to fit local circumstances," emphasizing, "For this, it is necessary to clarify the roles and strengthen the cooperation system between the education support offices and the main office." The education chiefs agreed that "education policies only become real education when implemented in the field," and shared the view that education support offices should more actively serve as a bridge between the main office and schools.

The event also featured a special lecture by author Jeong Jia, writer of "A Father's Liberation Diary." In her lecture on "Ways to Promote Reading and Humanities Education," Jeong stressed, based on her experiences living in Jeonnam, that "reading is the starting point for children to understand the world and themselves, and the humanities should be the foundation of education." The participants deeply agreed on the importance of reading and humanities education, and actively discussed sustainable humanities education measures through cooperation between education support offices and affiliated organizations.

Superintendent Kim Daejung stated, "This council meeting was an opportunity to discuss practical implementation measures to ensure that Glocal Jeonnam Education is firmly established in the school curriculum," adding, "The Office of Education will continue to strengthen the cooperation system linking education policy and the field, and will work to materialize a practical model that leads K-Education."

The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education plans to use this policy council as an opportunity to further solidify the inter-agency cooperation system in order to promote policies that provide practical support to schools.
