The Gadeokdo New Airport Construction Corporation has partnered with BNK Busan Bank to launch financial consulting services for residents receiving compensation.
Starting from June 16, the corporation has set up a financial consulting desk at the Gadeokdo-dong Administrative Welfare Center for two weeks, offering education on preventing financial fraud and providing asset management consultations. The main goal is to help residents who have received compensation manage their assets safely and avoid falling victim to fraud.
The consultations cover a wide range of topics, including the receipt and management of compensation funds, information on financial products, and tax consultations. Considering accessibility for residents, Busan Bank is also operating financial consulting desks at ten nearby branches in addition to Gadeokdo-dong, including Gangseo-gu, Saha-gu, and Jinhae-gu. Professional consultants have also been assigned.
Separately from financial consulting, the corporation is reviewing additional measures needed for relocation and settlement after compensation. Specific details will be provided at a later date.
Jeong Imsu, Vice President of the corporation, stated, "We will continue to provide systematic support together with Busan Bank so that residents applying for compensation can manage their assets efficiently and avoid financial fraud."
