Mid- to Long-Term Roadmap: "SUV-Focused Lineup"
Strengthening Cooperation with Global Partners
Actyon Hybrid Launches on the 19th
KG Mobility (KGM) has launched the Actyon hybrid model, a mid-size sport utility vehicle (SUV), and announced plans to introduce seven additional eco-friendly new vehicles by 2030. The company also plans to enter the multi-purpose vehicle (MPV) market for the first time.
On June 17, KGM held the 'KGM Forward' event at its Pyeongtaek headquarters in Gyeonggi Province, where it unveiled its mid- to long-term roadmap. The event was attended by more than 200 participants, including Kwack Jaeseon, Chairman of KG Group, and Hwang Kiyoung, CEO of KGM.

The Actyon hybrid, which will begin pre-orders on June 19, features a dual-tech hybrid system and achieves city fuel efficiency of 15.8 km per liter (with 20-inch tires). It is offered in a single trim, with a price in the 37 million won range (after applying a 3.5% individual consumption tax and tax benefits).
To coincide with the launch of the Actyon hybrid, KGM will provide customer-tailored vehicle management services and financial programs, including installment plans starting at around 190,000 won per month for 60 months.
In particular, KGM introduced a mid- to long-term roadmap that includes expanding its SUV-focused lineup and strengthening cooperation with global partners.
CEO Hwang stated, "Since joining the KG Group family in 2022, we have improved our internal management system and increased exports, resulting in two consecutive years of profitability. This year, we have set a sales target of 127,000 units, up 16% from the previous year. We also aim to achieve annual sales surpassing 5 trillion won for the first time in the company's history and reach operating profits in the 100 billion won range."
Based on the brand strategy of 'practical creativity,' KGM will introduce practical and convenient vehicles. Following the Actyon hybrid, the company plans to add the Musso Sports and Khan gasoline models in the first quarter of next year.
KGM will also introduce new vehicles through cooperation with global partners. The first joint project with Chery Automobile, with whom KGM signed a strategic partnership last year, is the 'SE10,' which is scheduled to be completed next year. The SE10 is a mid- to large-size SUV based on the 'F100' concept car unveiled at the 2023 Seoul Mobility Show. KGM also plans to collaborate on core future mobility technologies such as software-defined vehicles (SDVs) and autonomous driving.

KGM will expand its overseas business, focusing on Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. In Europe, the company will increase the proportion of hybrid and electric vehicles, while in the Middle East, it plans to open up new markets such as Libya, Syria, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE), centering on its Dubai office, which will begin operations in August.
For sales channels, KGM will establish Experience Centers in major cities nationwide, positioning them as marketing and sales hubs. The existing Experience Centers in Gangnam and Ilsan will be expanded to more than 10 locations across the country, including Busan, Daegu, and Gwangju, by 2027.
In the third quarter, KGM will launch its first subscription service, 'KGM Mobiling.' This service will allow customers to use a variety of vehicles, focusing on eco-friendly models such as hybrids, without the burden of initial purchase costs, insurance, taxes, or maintenance fees. The company also plans to offer differentiated subscription services in the future, such as pickup trucks and outdoor packages.
Chairman Kwack stated, "Although we are an automaker with a 70-year history, all employees are working hard to create a new company. I hope this will be the starting point for drawing a new future and possibilities for KGM."
