Held for One Week on the First Floor of Pangyo Branch Until June 23
Five Experience Zones Open with a Virtual Asset Theme
Hyundai Department Store announced on June 17 that it will host an offline popup store for the virtual asset exchange 'Upbit' at the open plaza on the first floor of its Pangyo branch for one week, until June 23.
This popup store, covering an area of 165 square meters (approximately 50 pyeong), is designed with the concept of a future-oriented digital asset exchange that connects the virtual and real worlds. The event space features five experiential zones where visitors can participate in activities such as an investment personality MBTI test, a virtual asset keyword typing game, an Upbit-themed quiz game, a stopwatch event, and a social networking service (SNS) sharing event. Customers who complete each mission will receive one 'Bitcoin (BTC) model coin' per activity, up to a total of five coins.
The model coins received can be exchanged for Upbit merchandise or used to participate in prize events. By presenting two model coins, customers can join the '100% Winning Draw' event to win Upbit goods such as a Bitcoin commemorative coin or a handheld fan, or they can enter a lucky draw for prizes including a Bitcoin commemorative coin made of 3.75g of pure gold and the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Upbit Exclusive smartphone.
New Upbit members will receive a coupon for Bitcoin worth 30,000 KRW by entering a code through the Hyundai Department Store Group’s integrated membership H.Point app.
A Hyundai Department Store representative stated, "We decided to operate the Upbit popup store as the number of young customers interested in virtual assets has recently increased significantly," adding, "We will continue to introduce new types of spatial content like this to lead future consumption trends and provide customers with new shopping experiences."
