The Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo Secretariat announced that it participated in the '2025 Korea Expo (Korea Expo Paris 2025)' held in Paris, France, for three days until the 15th, and actively promoted the 2025 Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo.
Marking its third edition this year, the Korea Expo was held at Paris Porte de Versailles. A total of 144 domestic and international companies participated, and the event served as an international platform to support the spread of Korean Wave and the entry of Korean businesses into Europe.
The Expo Secretariat introduced the exhibition hall and main programs of the expo to be held in Jeonnam, and actively promoted the appeal of Namdo gourmet cuisine by focusing on its unique content. They encouraged visitor participation through social media subscription events and Namdo gourmet lectures.
In particular, at the venue, a memorandum of understanding was signed with the Paris Korean Cuisine Association (President Lee Jongseon) to ensure the successful hosting of the expo, adding significance to the event. The two organizations agreed to continue working together to promote the expo locally in Europe, foster young gourmet chef talent, and expand the overseas presence of Jeonnam food ingredients.
Hong Yanghyeon, head of the Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo Secretariat, said, "Introducing the expo in France, a global gourmet powerhouse, provided a meaningful opportunity to expand our international network. We will continue to lead the globalization of Namdo gourmet cuisine through cooperation with various countries."
The 2025 Namdo International Gourmet Industry Expo will be held from October 1 to 26 at the Mokpo Culture & Arts Center and surrounding areas. Tickets can be purchased at a 40% discounted price of 6,000 won through Ticketlink and Naver until the 30th.
