Order Deadline at 11 p.m., Delivery Completed by 7 a.m.
Unified Operations Starting July 1
Switching from Insulated Bags to Paper Boxes
Deposit Refund Campaign for Returned "Albbag" Bags
SSG.com announced on the 17th that it will unify its dawn delivery operations in the Seoul metropolitan area and the Chungcheong region starting July 1.
With this reorganization, the order cutoff time for dawn delivery in these regions will be standardized to 11:00 p.m., and all deliveries will be completed by 7:00 a.m.
The delivery method for dawn delivery will also change. Instead of placing products in the "Albbag" bags that customers leave at their door, orders will now be pre-packed in boxes for delivery. As a result, a deposit refund campaign will be conducted for customers who own the gray reusable Albbag. Customers can receive a refund by submitting a photo online.
The product selection will continue to expand. SSG.com plans to broaden customer choices by focusing on groceries and health foods from its premium food section "Misikgwan," as well as daily necessities, living goods, beauty, pet products, and small home appliances. The "Freshness Guarantee Program," which offers unconditional refunds if customers are dissatisfied with the freshness of perishable products, will also continue.
This reorganization comes as CJ Logistics will take exclusive responsibility for SSG.com's dawn delivery volume. The company explained that this is part of a logistics collaboration aimed at improving logistics efficiency and enhancing delivery services. Previously, SSG.com completed its dawn delivery network covering six major metropolitan cities nationwide.
An SSG.com representative said, "By unifying the dawn delivery operations in the Seoul metropolitan and Chungcheong regions, we expect to further improve customer convenience," adding, "We will continue to strengthen our delivery services through ongoing collaboration with CJ Logistics."
