According to the women's golf weekly world rankings announced on June 16 (local time), Choi received 2.91 points, moving up four spots from 29th last week. She earned these points by finishing second by one stroke at the Meijer LPGA Classic (total prize money of $3 million) on the LPGA Tour, held at Blythefield Country Club (par 72, 6,611 yards) in Belmont, Michigan, USA, which concluded the previous day. Since debuting on the LPGA Tour in 2022, she had hoped to claim her first victory trophy after 88 tournaments, but had to settle for the runner-up finish.

Among Korean players, Kim Hyojoo is ranked 7th, Ko Jin-young 14th, Yang Heeyoung 26th, Yoon Yina 27th, Lee Yewon 28th, Lim Jinhui 30th, Kim Arim 31st, and Shin Jiae 35th.
