BNK Busan Bank (President Bang Sungbin) held a "Love Sharing for Veterans' Families" donation ceremony at the Busan Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs on the morning of June 16.
At the ceremony, Kim Byungki, Head of the Management Support Group at Busan Bank, and Lee Namil, Director of the Busan Regional Office of Patriots and Veterans Affairs, attended and delivered a total donation of 20 million won. This donation will be used to provide 200,000 won per person to elderly veterans and their families who are facing financial difficulties.
"Love Sharing for Veterans' Families" is a representative social contribution program that Busan Bank carries out every June, which is designated as the Month of Patriots and Veterans. The program aims to express gratitude and provide practical support to the families of those who have sacrificed and dedicated themselves to the country.
Kim Byungki, Head of the Management Support Group at Busan Bank, who attended the ceremony, stated, "It is very meaningful to be able to support veterans' families during the Month of Patriots and Veterans," and added, "We hope that, going forward, a culture in which those who have devoted themselves to the country are respected and honored by society will become firmly established."
Through its support of the "Patriotic Love Meal" initiative, Busan Bank is also taking the lead in fostering a culture of honoring veterans in everyday life by providing warm lunches every Tuesday to elderly veterans' families living alone.
