Cho Sangho, former Deputy Mayor of Economy of Sejong City, has been appointed as a member of the National Policy Planning Committee, which will be operated temporarily to ensure the success of the Lee Jaemyung administration.
Within the National Policy Planning Committee, Cho will serve in the Political Administration Subcommittee. It is reported that he joined the committee due to his current position as Deputy Director of the Institute for Democracy.
Notably, his appointment as a subcommittee member of the National Policy Planning Committee is drawing attention, as he is being mentioned as a potential Democratic Party candidate for Sejong City Mayor in next year's local elections.
