The Chungnam Provincial Parents' Association announced that it held the 2025 general meeting at the No. 1 conference room of the Provincial Office of Education on the morning of the 16th and elected Pyo Mija, president of the Hongseong Girls' Middle School Parents' Association, as its new president.
The Chungnam Provincial Parents' Association, which is composed of presidents of city and county parents' associations in Chungnam, operates in accordance with the "Ordinance on Support for the Chungcheongnam-do Parents' Association," which was enacted and has been in effect since April 11, 2022.
At the general meeting, following the election of executives, participants discussed the operational and activity plans for the Chungnam Provincial Parents' Association for the next year.
Pyo Mija, the newly elected president, stated, "As president, I will lay the foundation for the Parents' Association, actively support and communicate for the development of education in Chungnam by gathering opinions and fostering solidarity and cooperation among local parents' associations, and promote voluntary learning communities and support for student growth."
Meanwhile, the Chungnam Provincial Office of Education plans to continuously support parental participation in education by operating distinctive programs for parental involvement, communicating parental support policies, proposing on-site customized policies, and sharing best practices.
