"Shedding New Light on the Development History of Hoengseong County"
Hoengseong County in Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province (Mayor Kim Myunggi) is holding the 18th Hoengseong County Residents’ Day Public Records Exhibition, "SoHwakhong (Precious and Certain Records of Hoengseong)," from June 16 to June 20.

This exhibition is being held in the lobby on the first floor of Hoengseong County Office, and is organized under the theme "Water and Time Flowing in Hoengseong County." It focuses on public records related to Seomgang River and Hoengseong Dam, and is designed to shed new light on the development history of Hoengseong County. Visitors can also view records about changes in the spaces of Hoengseong County, as well as documents related to the Typhoon Cultural Festival.
Jin Yeonho, Director of the Hoengseong County Autonomous Administration Division, stated, "This exhibition will be a time for both residents and the administration to share memories of Hoengseong County’s history," adding, "It will also serve as a valuable opportunity to reflect on the importance and necessity of preserving Hoengseong County’s records."
The exhibition is open to everyone without prior registration, and visitors can freely attend during regular weekday working hours.
