Pyeongtaek City Achieves 262 Hires at First Half Job Fair

1,500 Job Seekers Flock to 51 Companies at Pyeongtaek Job Fair

Pyeongtaek City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 16th that it successfully held the '2025 First Half Pyeongtaek City Job Fair' at the Ichung Sports and Culture Center on the 12th.

The city explained that this job fair, which featured the participation of 51 companies, attracted over 100 visitors. A total of 603 people applied for one-on-one on-site interviews with HR managers from each company, resulting in 262 people being hired. This represents a 42% increase compared to the 184 people hired at the job fair held in the first half of last year.


For this fair, the city operated booths by sector?including semiconductors, manufacturing, services, and logistics and transportation?to improve accessibility and convenience for job seekers. In addition, various side events were provided, such as resume photo shoots, touch-up makeup, personal color consultations, and job tarot readings. Eleven related organizations, including the Pyeongtaek Employment Welfare Plus Center, Gyeonggi Job Foundation, Korea Human Resources Development Service Gyeonggi Southern Branch, and the Army Personnel Command, also participated to provide relevant information.


Jung Jangseon, mayor of Pyeongtaek, stated, "We will continue to expand job fairs in the future to give hope to many people and support them in achieving tangible results."
