Park Hyunsu, acting commissioner of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency, stated at a regular press briefing held on June 16, "On June 9, a complaint was filed against Reboxchool with Naver for violations of the Information and Communications Network Act, obstruction of business by computer interference, and obstruction of business by fraudulent means. Given the seriousness of the case, the police completed the complainant's interview on the same day and are swiftly conducting a related investigation."

He added, "On June 13, we conducted forensic analysis on mobile phones, laptops, and other items seized during searches of the Reboxchool office and the residence of CEO Son Hyosuk, and we are currently analyzing the data."

Reboxchool is suspected of operating a comment manipulation team called 'Jasongun' that systematically posted comments in support of or against specific candidates during the 21st presidential election.

As the controversy grew, Naver analyzed the login records of nine Reboxchool member accounts and confirmed that multiple accounts had accessed the platform from a single computer. Naver's terms of service state that 'accounts may not be sold, transferred, or lent to others.'

The police plan to proceed with a phased investigation into individuals and organizations related to Reboxchool after completing the forensic analysis.
