Chosun University Hospital announced on the 16th that it had successfully held the '2025 Infection Control Event' for all employees.
The event, which took place on June 12 in the main lobby on the first floor of Building 2 at Chosun University Hospital, was organized with the goal of creating a safe hospital environment free from infections and establishing a culture of infection control practices. The event featured programs focused on hands-on experiences and practical training.
During the event, a variety of interactive programs were offered, including an evaluation of hand hygiene accuracy using a hand scanner, training on the prevention of needlestick injuries through hands-on practice with safety catheters and needleless connectors, and demonstrations on the correct way to wear a mask.
Through this campaign, Chosun University Hospital not only contributed to increasing the rate of infection prevention practices and reducing the infection rate within the hospital, but also provided an opportunity to once again unite the entire hospital's capabilities to strengthen patient safety.
Yoon Nara, head of the Infection Control Office, stated, "The basics of infection control are proper hand hygiene and the correct use of personal protective equipment. I hope this event has served as an opportunity for all medical staff to once again recognize the importance of infection prevention and to put it into practice in their daily routines."
