The Largest Event Ever: 137 Companies and Organizations from 17 Countries Participating
National Railway Authority, Korea Railroad Corporation, Busan Transportation Corporation, and Leading Domestic and International Companies All in Attendance

The "2025 Busan International Railway Technology Industry Exhibition (RailLog Korea 2025)," which offers a comprehensive look at the present and future of the railway industry, will be held from June 18 to 21 at Exhibition Hall 1 of BEXCO in Busan.

Co-hosted by the Busan Metropolitan Government, the National Railway Authority, and Korea Railroad Corporation, this exhibition is recognized as one of the world's four major railway industry exhibitions and the only specialized railway exhibition in Korea. Celebrating its 12th edition this year, the event is themed "Railways as Lifeways," bringing together the latest technologies and trends in the global railway industry.

This year, a record number of 137 companies from 17 countries will participate, making it the largest event to date. In addition to domestic railway organizations, companies specializing in railway vehicles and components such as Hyundai Rotem and Woojin Industrial Systems, as well as the global railway vehicle manufacturer CRRC from China, will take part. The Busan Metropolitan Government plans to develop this event into a global business platform for the railway industry.

During the exhibition, the city will unveil its future railway plans, including the "Second Urban Rail Network Construction Plan (Draft)" and the "Next-Generation Busan Express Railway (BuTX)." These plans include high-speed connections between major hubs, resolving transportation blind spots, and strengthening intermodal connectivity. BuTX is Korea's first hydrogen-based express urban railway, aiming to combine eco-friendly technology with improved access to the new airport.

The event will also feature eight specialized seminars on advanced railway technology and four open seminars introducing the technologies of participating companies. Additional programs include recruitment briefings, export consultations, and the sale of fan merchandise (goods). Artificial intelligence (AI) technology will be incorporated into the exhibition, with AI announcer Ailee providing guidance, as well as the trial introduction of an AI-based multilingual simultaneous interpretation and a QR code-linked navigation system.

The exhibition will operate as a business day event from June 18 to 20, and will open to the general public on June 21.

Lee Joonseung, Deputy Mayor for Administrative Affairs of Busan, stated, "This exhibition, held in Busan, the gateway city to the Eurasian Continental Railway, will serve as an opportunity to elevate the international status of the railway industry," adding, "We will do our utmost to promote Korea's railway technology to the world."
