Mobile Civil Service Office for Driver's License Issuance and Renewal
Convenient On-Site Services for Citizens at the Busan Office of Education
The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seokjun) will collaborate with the Korea Road Traffic Authority's Southern Driver's License Test Center to operate a "Mobile Civil Service Office."
The Busan Office of Education plans to set up the mobile civil service office at the Comprehensive Civil Service Office of the city education office for two days, from June 17 to June 18, operating from 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. During this period, the office will accept and process citizen requests related to driver's licenses.
This mobile service has been arranged for citizens who find it difficult to visit the driver's license test center. Major services such as aptitude tests (renewal) for Class 1 ordinary licenses, renewal for Class 2 ordinary licenses, reissuance of licenses (for lost, English, or mobile versions), and issuance of international driving permits will be handled on site.
Since all services, from issuing various driver's license certificates to renewals, can be completed in one stop, it is expected to significantly reduce the time and cost for citizens and greatly improve service accessibility.
Superintendent Kim Seokjun stated, "We will proactively provide customized civil service to meet the needs of citizens," adding, "We will continue to discover new partner organizations and expand the operation of the mobile civil service office to realize citizen-centered administrative services."
