Establishing Networks with Major Institutions in Germany and France
Expanding Local Investment Attraction and Business Support
Providing IR Pitching Opportunities at VIVA Technology
The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 16th that it had established a cooperative network for promising K-startups to expand into Europe by visiting government agencies and startup support organizations in Germany and France from the 10th to the 13th (local time).
On the 10th, the delegation visited the Frankfurt Economic Development Agency, which is responsible for economic development and investment attraction in Frankfurt, Germany. On the 11th, as part of a collaborative project with overseas diplomatic missions in Frankfurt, they met with Digital Hub Mannheim (5-HT) and the Healthcare Startup Support Center (CUBEX) to discuss local networking for small and medium-sized ventures in the digital and healthcare sectors, as well as support for strengthening regulatory response capabilities to facilitate their entry into the German market.

On the 12th in Paris, France, they visited leading local startup incubators 'Impulse Partners' and 'HEC Paris.' In particular, they discussed cooperation measures for the 'POST-KSC Program,' which would allow companies to continue receiving support such as office space, investment attraction, and local market entry consulting even after the completion of their residency at KSC Paris. Through this, it is expected that companies entering the local market will be able to settle and resolve various challenges even after the official support period ends.
On the 13th, at 'VIVA Technology 2025,' Europe's largest startup and technology exhibition attended by approximately 160,000 visitors and more than 13,000 startups, the Small and Medium Business Administration supported domestic startups wishing to enter Europe by facilitating their participation in the 'K-Startup Pavilion.'
In addition, on the same day, as a follow-up project to the business agreement signed last year with Publicis, the organizer of VIVA Technology, the Small and Medium Business Corporation hosted the startup IR pitching event 'Super Pitch Korea 2025,' supporting domestic startups in making practical connections with local investors.
Park Janghyuk, Executive Director of Global Growth at the Small and Medium Business Corporation, stated, "We expect that cooperation with local organizations and pitching events will further expand global investment opportunities for K-startups," adding, "The Small and Medium Business Corporation will continue to provide unwavering support to strengthen the competitiveness of domestic startups wishing to expand globally."
