Building Payment Infrastructure for the 'D Selection' Brand with DL E&C

NHN KCP, a comprehensive payment solutions provider, announced on June 16 that it has established a dedicated payment solution allowing customers to pay by credit card for customized interior options offered prior to moving into DL E&C apartments.

This payment system is applied to contracts for D Selection options in Acro and ePyeonhan Sesang brand apartment complexes distributed by DL E&C. Prospective residents can now pay by credit card in addition to cash. They can also benefit from various perks such as interest-free installment plans and cashback offers.

Previously, in February, NHN KCP introduced its card payment system for the first time during D Selection contracts at Acro Ritz County in Bangbae-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, and ePyeonhan Sesang Dangsan River Park D Selection in Dangsan-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. Approximately 70% of all customers used the card payment method. The card payment system is also scheduled to be implemented next month at ePyeonhan Sesang Seongseong Lake Park in Cheonan, Chungnam. NHN KCP plans to commercialize this system nationwide, focusing on new apartment complexes distributed by DL E&C.

In February, DL E&C became the first in the industry to launch D Selection, an interior solution brand that adds personal taste to living spaces, and introduced card payment services. NHN KCP is responsible for building and operating the card payment infrastructure for D Selection.

Notably, introducing credit card payments for apartment move-in options is the first case in the domestic payment gateway (PG) industry. NHN KCP plans to use this as a stepping stone to expand customized payment infrastructure across various industries.

An NHN KCP representative stated, "This case is significant in that it supports digital transformation in the residential sector from the perspective of payment infrastructure," and added, "We will continue to expand electronic payment solutions tailored to the characteristics and demands of various industries, including the housing market, through technological innovation and service diversification."

NHN KCP provides comprehensive e-commerce infrastructure, including PG and value-added network (VAN) services, as well as easy payment, settlement, and security solutions. Last year, it became the first in the PG industry to surpass KRW 1 trillion in annual revenue. Recently, it has been expanding its business-to-business (B2B) services, including trade payment solutions.
