According to major foreign media outlets, an Israeli military official on the 15th (local time) declined to answer a question about "how long the airstrikes on Iran will continue." Instead, the official stated, "There are still many targets for airstrikes within Iran," and added, "Last night (the 14th), we attacked about 80 targets in Tehran."

In a statement released that day, the Israeli military said, "Fifty Air Force fighter jets flew over Tehran overnight from the 14th to the 15th, attacking infrastructure and facilities related to Iran's nuclear program." The statement further noted, "Among the approximately 80 targets were the Ministry of Defense headquarters and the Organization of Defensive Innovation and Research (SPND), a core facility for the nuclear project." The military also reported that, over the three days since the 13th, it had struck more than 720 targets within Iran.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi urged Israel to halt its attacks first. This was the first time Minister Araghchi had made a public statement since Israel's surprise attack began on the 13th.

Israel has maintained its stance that the airstrikes will continue. Through X, the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported that Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar, in a phone call with German Foreign Minister Johann Wadephul that morning, stated, "The operation against Iran will continue, and there are still important objectives to be achieved."
