According to major foreign media outlets such as AFP on June 15 (local time), the Houthis announced that they had launched ballistic missile attacks on the Jaffa area in central Israel over the past 24 hours. In a statement, the Houthis said they carried out a military operation targeting sensitive Israeli sites using the hypersonic ballistic missile "Palestine-2."

This is the first time that an Iranian proxy force has publicly declared its support for airstrikes in the current direct confrontation between Israel and Iran. The Houthis are part of the so-called "Axis of Resistance," which also includes Palestinian Hamas and Lebanon's Hezbollah, all backed by Iran.

Yahya Saree, spokesperson for the Houthis, suggested that the attack was coordinated with Iran, stating that it was carried out in coordination with the Iranian military's operations against the Israeli enemy and in consultation with Iran.

The Israeli military previously stated that it had issued air raid warnings after missiles were launched toward Israel from both Iran and Yemen.
