Total Contract Value of Approximately 595.8 Billion KRW
Consortium Formed with Hyundai Engineering & Construction
SK Ecoplant announced on June 15 that it has been awarded the redevelopment and maintenance project for Myeonmok 7 District in Jungnang-gu, Seoul.
The Myeonmok 7 District redevelopment project involves constructing 11 apartment buildings with a total of 1,502 units and related welfare facilities, ranging from three basement levels to 35 above-ground floors, in Myeonmok-dong, Jungnang-gu. SK Ecoplant and Hyundai Engineering & Construction formed a consortium to win the project. The total contract value is approximately 595.8 billion KRW.
SK Ecoplant explained that the project site is within a 10-minute walk of Myeonmok Station on Seoul Subway Line 7, making it convenient to access central areas of Seoul such as Gangnam. In addition, it is easy to reach Gangnam and Gangdong areas by car via Dongil-ro and Yongma Tunnel.
Educational facilities, including Myeonmok Elementary, Middle, and High Schools, are located nearby, and the area is rich in green spaces such as Yongma Family Park, the park behind Seoil University, and Jungnangcheon.
Lee Kiyeol, Executive Vice President of Solution Sales at SK Ecoplant, stated, "We will strive to make this project a local landmark by leveraging the experience and outstanding construction capabilities we have accumulated through urban redevelopment projects," adding, "We will continue our efforts to secure high-quality urban redevelopment projects in the future."
