Ulleung County in North Gyeongsang Province held an unveiling ceremony on June 13, 2025, for the newly established "Ulleung (Sadong) Station," a small-scale station located at the Ulleung Passenger Terminal (Sadong Port) in Ulleung County.

The "Ulleung (Sadong) Station," created in collaboration with Korail Daegu Headquarters and Ulleung Cruise, is designed in the style of a railway station and features a bench-style rest area and a photo zone. These additions are expected to provide tourists with a unique attraction and a comfortable space to relax.
County Governor Nam Hankwon stated, "The small-scale station at Sadong Port is expected to offer tourists special memories and emotions, and to become a new landmark that widely promotes the charm of Ulleungdo. We will continue to work closely with Korail and Ulleung Cruise to create a sustainable regional tourism model."
With the unveiling ceremony, Ulleung County and its partner organizations also signed a business agreement. Building on this agreement, they plan to continue pursuing a variety of collaborative projects to revitalize tourism on Ulleungdo.
