The premium apartment complex "Onard Beomeo" is set to launch full-scale sales in Beomeo-dong, Suseong-gu, Daegu, a prime location in the city. The project has generated significant anticipation, with large numbers of high-net-worth individuals and end-users attending pre-sale briefings. The combination of limited new supply in the area and high-end design is positioning Onard Beomeo as a potential landmark development.

On June 13, POSCO E&C announced, "We are opening the Onard Beomeo model house and officially starting sales," adding, "We plan to set a new standard for high-end residential culture in Daegu." Onard Beomeo will be developed at 233-4 Beomeo-dong, Suseong-gu, consisting of four basement levels and 29 above-ground floors, with a total of 168 high-end residential units. All units are medium to large in size, ranging from 136 to 244 square meters of exclusive area. Every unit is primarily south-facing, ensuring excellent sunlight and views.


Beomeo-dong, the site of Onard Beomeo, is renowned for its top-tier school district and high residential preference in Daegu. There has been virtually no supply of new apartments in the area until now. This scarcity has attracted strong interest from both end-users and affluent buyers. Recently, nearly 1,000 visitors attended a project briefing, indicating strong demand. An industry official commented, "Beomeo-dong is a top-tier location with complete transportation, education, and lifestyle infrastructure, but there has been no new supply for years, leading to significant pent-up demand for moving up. Onard Beomeo stands out as a rare high-end development in the region, and its product appeal alone has generated substantial word-of-mouth inquiries."


The high-end strategy is reflected throughout the design. The interiors feature a four-bay layout with cross-ventilation, and select units will offer specialized terrace floor plans. Ceiling-mounted system air conditioners, built-in refrigerators, and kimchi refrigerators will be provided free of charge. Planned underground community amenities include a fitness center, golf practice range, study room, kids' cafe, and senior lounge. The exterior will feature landscaping, security facilities, and electric vehicle charging stations, with customized design enhancements tailored to residents' lifestyles. For the first time in Daegu, a concierge service will also be introduced.


Industry experts cite the combination of supply scarcity in Suseong-gu's premium locations, high-quality design, and location-driven demand as the "three key factors" for the project's strong appeal. While the overall Daegu real estate market remains in decline, Suseong-gu continues to see solid end-user demand. Moreover, with existing high-end complexes aging, Onard Beomeo is expected to attract strong interest as it offers comprehensive access to transportation, schools, and lifestyle amenities.


The Onard Beomeo model house will operate on a reservation-only basis. Reservations can be made via the website for customers who have pre-registered after visiting the lounge. Move-in is scheduled for January next year. The application schedule begins with special supply on the 30th of this month, followed by first-priority applications on the 1st and second-priority applications on the 2nd of next month. Winners will be announced on the 8th. The contract signing period will take place over three days, from the 21st to the 23rd of next month.
