"Nongshim Breaks Ground on Ulsan 'Global Export Logistics Hub' to Elevate K-Ramyeon Status"

Scheduled for Completion in the First Half of 2027

Nongshim has broken ground on the Ulsan Samnam Logistics Center, which is set to become a "global export logistics hub."

On the 13th, Nongshim announced that it held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Ulsan Samnam Logistics Center at the Samnam Logistics Complex in Ulju County, Ulsan. The ceremony was attended by Lee Byunghak, CEO of Nongshim; Kim Doogyum, Mayor of Ulsan Metropolitan City; and about 100 others, including officials from Ulsan.

The Nongshim Ulsan Samnam Logistics Center will be built on a site of approximately 46,700 square meters (about 14,000 pyeong), with a total floor area of about 166,700 square meters (about 50,000 pyeong), and will consist of five above-ground floors. The target for completion is the first half of 2027. The total investment is approximately 229 billion KRW.

The Nongshim Ulsan Samnam Logistics Center will serve as a key base to support the expansion of Nongshim's domestic and international logistics demand in the future. In addition, Nongshim plans to improve the quality of logistics services in the Gyeongsang region, centered on Ulsan, by attracting distribution companies such as e-commerce businesses.

Nongshim also plans to contribute to the local community during the construction and operation of the logistics center. During the construction period, the project is expected to create approximately 4,300 jobs. After completion, about 1,300 operational staff will be hired, focusing on local residents, in order to invigorate the local economy.
