Seven couples were formed at the 'Jongno Good Life Challenge,' an event held to help alleviate social isolation among seniors and support the formation of new relationships. On June 12, Jongno District held the 'Jongno Good Life Challenge' at Mugyewon in Buam-dong, Seoul.

This event was first introduced at Unhyeongung Palace in October of last year and received a great response. This year as well, it provided seniors with an opportunity to get to know each other, become friends, or form new connections. Participants were residents of Jongno District aged 65 or older who live alone, with 20 women and 17 men attending. Comedian Shim Hyunseop served as the host.

Jung Moonheon, the mayor of Jongno District, said, "You don't have to fall in love today," and added, "I hope this was a time for seniors to meet someone they can rely on, share their hearts, and regain vitality in their lives."
