Bark Completes Pre-Series A Funding

Bark, an ergonomic footwear brand created by rehabilitation medicine doctors, announced on June 12 that it has successfully secured pre-Series A investment.

WisePlanetCompany participated as a new shareholder in this investment round. WisePlanetCompany explained that it decided to invest after highly valuing Bark's new products, technological development, and potential for overseas expansion.

Bark surpassed 2 billion KRW in sales last year, and as of the end of the first quarter of this year, its sales have grown 15 times compared to the same period last year. Byun Heejun, CEO of Bark, said, "We will continue to grow into a company that achieves results and earns recognition not only in Korea but also globally."
