Yoo Hyunseok, acting president of the Korea Creative Content Agency, who accepted the commemorative plaque on behalf of Korea, said, "It is highly significant that the excellence and potential of the Korean content industry have been recognized worldwide," adding, "This is a collective achievement made together with the 650,000 people working in Korea's content industry."

The Banff World Media Festival is a leading broadcast and video content event in North America. This year, more than 1,400 participants from 45 countries, including broadcasters, production companies, platforms, and investors, attended the festival.

The Korea Creative Content Agency participated as the event's very first guest of honor. Alongside domestic video content companies such as ASTORY and CJ ENM, the agency operated an exhibition booth and held a showcase introducing Korean content. In addition, a session was held under the theme "How K-Content Is Evolving into Stories, Platforms, and Intellectual Property (IP) Fit for the Global Stage."
