The Damyang County Cultural Foundation in South Jeolla Province will present a special stage blending film and live music, the 'Cine Concert', at the Moonlight Art Warehouse over two days from June 13 to 14.

This performance is designed to provide richer cultural enjoyment by combining films familiar to both residents and tourists with live musical performances.

The 'Cine Concert' is a performance format where audiences watch film scenes on a large screen while professional musicians perform the movie's soundtrack live on site. The combination of cinematic emotion and the vibrancy of live music offers audiences a new artistic experience.

On June 13, the classic film 'The Wizard of Oz' will be screened. Jazz vocalist Nam Yeji, winner of the Korean Popular Music Awards in the jazz vocal category, and 'Old Songs, Teum' will perform together, presenting jazz arrangements that reinterpret Korean sentiments, including 'Over the Rainbow', 'Gasiri', and 'Kkot Taryeong'. The combination of a familiar story and sophisticated music is expected to create a stage that can be enjoyed by people of all ages.

On June 14, the music film 'Hawaii Love Song', which has enjoyed steady popularity since its exclusive release at CGV, will be screened. This work features violist Richard Yongjae O'Neill, violinist Kim Jiyeon, world-renowned musician Keola Beamer, soprano Jo Sumi, and actress Ye Sujeong, and beautifully depicts the long history of the Korean diaspora through music and film. After the screening, there will be a conversation with director Lee Jinyoung.

The music performances held on the same day also draw attention. The 'Korean Arts Brass Ensemble' will present popular movie soundtracks, including those from Disney and Studio Ghibli animations, with an 11-member brass ensemble. The 'Korea Chamber Ensemble' will collaborate with the Dambit String Ensemble, which consists of local youth, to present a string-focused movie music stage.

All seats for the performances are free, and advance reservations can be made through the Damyang County Cultural Foundation's website and official social media channels. Some advance reservation holders will be selected by lottery to receive prizes such as picnic mat rentals and craft beer.

Additionally, from 3 p.m. on both days, a variety of side events will be held in the front yard of the Moonlight Art Warehouse, including food booths and hands-on programs for families to enjoy.

A foundation representative stated, "Through this Cine Concert, we aim to foster an atmosphere where culture and the arts are enjoyed in everyday life," and added, "We are expanding opportunities for youth and local artists to participate, building a rich cultural ecosystem in Damyang, and exploring the potential for tourism content."
