Coupang Play announced on June 11 that starting from June 15, it will broadcast the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup as part of its 'Sports PASS' content. PASS is an optional add-on service that was announced on May 9. Viewers must pay an additional fee to access certain genres of content, such as the latest movies, international dramas, and sports.
The Club World Cup, which runs until July 14, features thirty-two football clubs representing six continents competing for a prize of $125 million (approximately 170.8 billion KRW). This year, top European teams such as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Dortmund, Manchester City, and Juventus will participate. In South Korea, Ulsan will compete as the representative of the K League.
