The Gwangsan District Council in Gwangju will hold its 297th first regular session for 15 days from June 13 to June 27, 2025.

During this regular session, a total of 20 agenda items will be addressed, including the approval of the 2024 fiscal year settlement and reserve fund expenditures, questions on district administration, and ordinance proposals. The council member-initiated ordinance proposals include the 'Ordinance on the Eradication of Gapjil' (Han Yunhee), the 'Ordinance on the Children's and Youth Council' (Kim Myungsook), the 'Amendment to the Commendation Ordinance' (Park Haewon), the 'Ordinance on the Promotion of Braille Culture' (Jung Jaebong), and the 'Ordinance on Support for Schools Affected by Military Noise' (Gong Byungcheol), totaling five proposals.


The session will begin with the first plenary meeting on June 13, followed by district administration questions on June 19 and 20, a comprehensive review by the Special Budget and Accounts Committee from June 23 to June 26, and the fourth plenary meeting on June 27, where the agenda items will be processed and the session will conclude.
