Busan Metropolitan Office of Education and Public Officials Labor Union Hold 'Integrity Pledge Ceremony'

The 'Integrity Pledge Ceremony' jointly organized by the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Kim Seokjun) and the Public Officials Labor Union was held at the Busan Education Research and Information Institute on June 10, 2025.

This event was organized as an opportunity to reaffirm the commitment to strengthening integrity in the public sector and establishing a culture of integrity among public officials.

A total of 73 people attended the event, including Superintendent Kim Seokjun, the Director of Administration, the Director of Planning, 10 officials from the Busan Metropolitan Office of Education, Song Eonyong, the chairperson of the Public Officials Labor Union, and union delegates.

The participants recited an integrity pledge together, taking time to reflect on their responsibilities and ethics as public officials.

Superintendent Kim Seokjun stated, "This Integrity Pledge Ceremony is an opportunity to reflect on the present and commit to responsible action for a better future," and urged, "I hope that both labor and management will work together so that this pledge does not remain a mere declaration, but is put into real action."

The Busan Metropolitan Office of Education and the Public Officials Labor Union plan to continue their joint efforts to foster a culture of integrity within the organization.
