Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation and Hongseong County Sign Agreement to Support Youth Entrepreneurship and Digitalization

On June 11, the Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation announced that it had signed an agreement with Hongseong County on June 10 to implement the "Hongseong County Youth Local Startup and Digitalization Support Project."

This agreement is a comprehensive package project aimed at strengthening the entrepreneurial capabilities and supporting the digitalization of young prospective and current entrepreneurs under the age of 49 in Hongseong County.

The Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation will cooperate in various areas, including: ▲ entrepreneurship education and consulting ▲ digitalization education and consulting ▲ credit guarantees and digitalization support funds of 2 million won per company ▲ promotional cooperation to foster a youth entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The foundation signed this agreement in recognition of its achievements last year in revitalizing youth entrepreneurship in the province through the "Chungnam Youth Entrepreneurship Creation Support Project (Lifestyle Startups)."

Notably, among the 15 cities and counties in Chungnam, Hongseong County is the first to collaborate with the Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation beyond the financial sector, raising expectations for the potential expansion of such initiatives to other regions.

Chairman Cho Sohang stated, "We are pleased that the Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation can join Hongseong County on its journey to become a 'city of youth happiness,'" and added, "We will spare no effort in providing effective support to create an environment conducive to youth entrepreneurship."

Meanwhile, the funding for this project comes from donations raised through the "Hometown Love Donation Program," which Hongseong County has promoted over the past two years. This is drawing attention as it demonstrates how the interest and donations of residents from other regions have been translated into tangible youth policies.

The project announcement and selection of participating companies are scheduled to take place between late June and early July. For more details, please contact the Startup Growth Support Department of the Chungnam Credit Guarantee Foundation.
