Hyundai Motor Company announced on the 11th that it has launched its commercial vehicle, "The New Xcient," featuring a new design and a range of advanced safety and convenience features. This is the first product enhancement model to be introduced in six years since the "Xcient Pro" in 2019.

The New Xcient boasts a more imposing and robust appearance thanks to a "V"-shaped radiator grille with cube-shaped mesh graphics and vertical chrome garnish. The vehicle also features block-shaped full LED headlamps, a new emblem crafted from thin aluminum, and a new roof visor, creating a sleek yet sophisticated look.

The application of compact and streamlined digital side mirrors improves aerodynamic performance and provides excellent visibility even during nighttime or rainy driving conditions.

Inside, a 12.3-inch digital cluster and a 12.3-inch infotainment system are installed, delivering a unified presentation of various information through the next-generation infotainment system "ccNC." A pop-up type cup holder has been added to the lower console, and a storage net for tablets or mobile phones has been installed at the rear of the bedroom area, enhancing spatial convenience.

The vehicle is equipped with a forward collision-avoidance assist system capable of detecting both pedestrians and cyclists. Additionally, new features include: forward/rear-side proximity collision warnings that alert the driver to obstacles in blind spots during low-speed driving; rear-side collision warnings that detect vehicles when changing lanes; and intelligent headlamps, all of which contribute to safer driving.

Other standard convenience features include: smart cruise control with stop-and-go functionality; navigation-based smart cruise control; highway driving assist; and auto hold, all designed to offer customers a more comfortable driving experience. Lane keeping assist, intelligent speed limit assist, and an electronic parking brake are also standard across all models, maximizing product competitiveness.

The ride comfort has been further enhanced by applying shock absorbers with increased damping force. The steering wheel now features adjustable steering force, allowing customers to choose between light and comfortable handling or firm and stable steering according to their preference. Additional features such as an integrated Hi-Pass digital tachograph, upgraded wireless smartphone charging (increased from 5W to 10W), safety power windows, and wireless software updates for the infotainment system have been introduced to further improve customer satisfaction.

A Hyundai Motor Company representative stated, "This model has perfectly evolved to meet every requirement expected of a truck, from style to smart features," adding, "With its significantly enhanced product value, it will become the best companion to elevate your business to the next level."

Meanwhile, to coincide with the launch of The New Xcient, Hyundai Motor Company is releasing "Hyundai Encyclopedia: The New Xcient Edition" and "The New Xcient Unveiling Film" on its official YouTube channel. Additionally, the "Hyundai Truck & Bus" KakaoTalk channel is hosting "The New Xcient Unveiling Film Quiz Event" until the 21st.
