President Zelensky stated on X (formerly Twitter) that "Russia used 315 drones and 7 missiles in last night's attack, and among them, two were North Korean-made ballistic missiles." He added, "This was one of the largest airstrikes on Kyiv, and the regions of Odesa, Dnipro, and Chernihiv were also targeted." He further explained, "Residential buildings and urban infrastructure were damaged, and even a maternity hospital in Odesa was targeted."

He went on to say that there were casualties as a result of this airstrike, with 13 people injured. According to the Associated Press, citing the Odesa regional prosecutor's office, there were 2 deaths and 9 injuries.
