The Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education announced on the 10th that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with Daeduk College and Woosong Information College to establish a community-based cooperation system for the successful implementation of the high school credit system.

The agreement aims to facilitate the smooth implementation of the high school credit system, support students in planning their career paths and academic courses, and develop, operate, and promote the 'ONE Class' student lecture program linking high schools and universities. The 'ONE Class' program is a high school-university linkage initiative that utilizes the universities' excellent educational infrastructure and expertise to help students explore their career interests and aptitudes, and to experience a variety of elective subjects required for the high school credit system in advance.

The Daejeon Metropolitan Office of Education plans to provide students with specialized and advanced education, as well as rich and diverse learning experiences, based on close cooperation with universities.

In addition, the office will continue to foster collaboration across the entire educational spectrum by operating training programs to enhance teachers' expertise and developing models for utilizing educational resources outside of schools.

Superintendent Seoldongho stated, "The successful establishment of the high school credit system cannot be achieved without the organic cooperation of the local community," and added, "Through this agreement, we will realize student-centered education that fosters future competencies."
