The Chungnam Provincial Council announced on the 10th that Assemblywoman Hyunsook Lee (Proportional Representation, People Power Party) has sponsored and introduced a partial amendment to the "Chungcheongnam-do Ordinance on the Promotion of Youth Job Creation."

The amendment expands the age criteria for youth from the previous "15 years old and above, up to 29 years old" to "up to 39 years old." It also explicitly defines "youth from vulnerable groups," thereby ensuring that young people in a variety of circumstances can receive job support.

Additionally, a new provision has been established to provide financial support for the employment promotion and self-reliance of youth from vulnerable groups, with a focus on enhancing the effectiveness of the ordinance.

Assemblywoman Hyunsook Lee stated, "Although youth job creation programs are currently being actively promoted, there is still a lack of tailored support for young people in relatively difficult situations. Through this ordinance amendment, we will strengthen the support system so that more young people can achieve employment stability and build a foundation for self-reliance."
