Dongshin University Career Plus Center announced on June 10 that it recently held the presentation and awards ceremony for the "2025 Corporate Analysis Competition" to enhance students' employment competitiveness.

This competition was designed as a practical program to help students analyze the real business environment of companies and deepen their understanding of job roles. Nine teams, each consisting of three to four members, participated in the event.

Participants spent about a month conducting in-depth analyses of their chosen companies. After selecting companies of interest, they thoroughly examined financial status, market environment, main business activities, and competitive advantages. Based on these findings, each team prepared analysis materials and delivered presentations.

The judging process comprehensively evaluated the completeness of the presentations, alignment with objectives, creativity, analytical skills, understanding of the company and job roles, and presentation abilities to determine the award recipients.

The top prize was awarded to the "Maegfinder Team," composed of first-year students from the Department of Korean Medicine. The "Chwieopsikyeojo Team" from the Department of Radiological Science received the Excellence Award, and the "Viewmiz Team" from the Department of Beauty and Cosmetology was given the Encouragement Award. In addition, the "Hwasa Team" from the Department of Fire Safety and the "AI4C Team" from the Department of Computer Engineering also received prizes.

Seong Hoseung, a first-year student in the Department of Korean Medicine and a member of the top prize-winning "Maegfinder Team," said, "It was my first time conducting such an in-depth analysis of a company. Over the past month, studying and discussing with my teammates helped me develop the practical thinking and analytical skills needed in the workplace. I am pleased that our efforts to understand the meaning behind the numbers by directly analyzing the company's financial data led to such a positive outcome."

An Minju, head of the Dongshin University Career Plus Center, stated, "This competition was a valuable opportunity for students to analyze companies from their own perspectives and clarify their career paths. We will continue to operate a variety of programs to help students build practical employment competitiveness."
