Practical Safety Support for Delivery Partners
Including Free Safety Inspections
On June 10, Coupang Eats Service (CES) announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Geumcheon District in Seoul to create a safer delivery environment for delivery partners. Coupang Eats Service is expanding its efforts to support delivery partner safety by collaborating with various local governments nationwide, including Changwon Special City, Gyeonggi Province, and Gangnam District in Seoul.
Through this agreement, Coupang Eats Service plans to work with Geumcheon District to support a range of initiatives for delivery partner safety, including free motorcycle safety inspections, campaigns to promote a culture of safe driving, and safety education programs.

This year, Coupang Eats Service is expanding its "Free Motorcycle Safety Inspection and Consumable Replacement Event" to major regions across the country. The safety inspection events for the first half of the year began in Yongin in April and are scheduled to be held in 13 regions, including the Seoul metropolitan area, Wonju, Cheongju, Daegu, and Ulsan. The free safety inspection events, conducted by maintenance experts through systematic and detailed inspections, have been directly helping to prevent accidents and have received a positive response from delivery partners.
A representative from Coupang Eats Service stated, "Coupang Eats Service will continue to collaborate with various local governments to promote safety support for delivery partners and will expand efforts to create a safer delivery culture."
