Hi Seoul Enterprises are approximately 1,100 companies based in Seoul that have been certified by the city for their technological excellence, growth potential, and global capabilities. These companies receive a variety of support benefits, including attracting overseas investment, market development, consulting, and expanded corporate networking.

The Hi Seoul Enterprise Association is a non-profit organization formed to help these companies secure future growth engines and become global leading enterprises. Currently, it operates four chapters: Gangseo (Gangseo, Jongno, Mapo), Gangnam (Seocho, Songpa), S Valley (Seongdong, Gangdong, Gangbuk), and G Valley (Guro, Geumcheon, Gasan).

Through this agreement, the two organizations will jointly pursue: nurturing outstanding companies through growth support; providing assistance with fundraising and preferential financial benefits; supporting participation in direct financial markets such as IPOs and promoting investment; offering customized financial consulting and research seminars for companies; and expanding membership and developing collaborative projects aimed at corporate growth.

The Hi Seoul Enterprise Association includes a wide range of active companies, from startups and SMEs to external audit companies and firms listed on KONEX and KOSDAQ. Leveraging its expertise in supporting small and medium-sized businesses, IBK Investment & Securities plans to actively provide support in areas such as IPOs, equity capital markets (ECM), and mezzanine financing.

Seo Junghak, CEO of IBK Investment & Securities, stated, "IBK Investment & Securities will actively support Hi Seoul Enterprises, which have been recognized as excellent companies in Seoul, to ensure they continue to achieve dynamic and innovative growth, from corporate finance such as fundraising to customized consulting, and will maintain ongoing cooperation."

Park Mikyung, President of the Hi Seoul Enterprise Association, said, "This agreement is very meaningful as it provides member companies of the Hi Seoul Enterprise Association with more systematic growth support, fundraising, IPO opportunities, and more," adding, "We will continue to work with IBK Investment & Securities to help excellent small and medium-sized enterprises build global competitiveness."
