The Mirae Naeil Work Experience Honam Support Center, operated by the Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry, announced on the 10th that it had completed the first training course of the 2025 Project-Based Work Experience Program in collaboration with the Talent Development Academy, and held a performance sharing session and a completion ceremony.
The 2025 Project-Based Work Experience Program, run by the Talent Development Academy, is held four times a year. It is a work experience project designed to help young people develop practical, job-oriented skills by carrying out real-world tasks proposed by companies.
The first round of the program was conducted for about one month, ending on the 9th. During the first ten days, a two-day preliminary job training session totaling 15 hours was held, followed by four weeks of team-based project work.
Through this program, a total of 55 trainees completed the course: 20 in the Performance Marketing Master Course, 8 in the IT Master Course, and 27 in the PR Marketing Master Course.
For the first round of the project-based work experience program, Atomos, a performance marketing specialist company, and Moram Platform, a hobby platform company based in Gwangju and Jeonnam, participated. Each company proposed projects based on topics that are actually needed in the field, such as practical performance marketing for commerce companies and marketing strategies to vitalize hobby platforms.
Both companies provided practical mentoring and feedback during the trainees’ project work, directly participated in the performance sharing session, and supported the awarding of outstanding project teams and scholarships, thereby actively motivating and supporting the trainees for smooth project execution.
At the performance sharing session held the previous day, team project results were presented, outstanding project teams and top trainees were awarded, and participants shared their experiences. The trainees exchanged various thoughts and reflections based on their one-month experience.
Among the trainees who completed the four-week project and submitted participation essays, Lee Youngkyung and Kwak Sieun were selected for the Outstanding Participation Essay Award and shared their thoughts at the performance sharing session.
Lee Youngkyung said, "Through the Moram Platform project, I planned and operated the 'Blind Rooftop Picnic' program, which helped me develop content planning and on-site operation skills. It was a valuable experience that allowed me to truly understand the role of a planner who designs the entire user experience, going beyond just coming up with ideas."
Hong Sungil, CEO of Moram Platform, said, "Although the period was short, I was impressed by how the trainees accurately pointed out areas that our company needs to improve and suggested various directions we had not considered. It was a very meaningful experience from the company's perspective as well."
Oh Yooyeon, Director of Atomos, said, "I was delighted to meet such talented individuals through this project, and I am grateful to the Talent Development Academy for providing this valuable opportunity."
