On the 8th floor of the main building at Gwangju Shinsegae, the home living section is offering discounts on cooling bedding to ensure a comfortable night's sleep.
To help customers cope with tropical nights, the store is presenting a range of unique items made with cooling fabrics, from comforters to cushions designed for a restful sleep. Cooling fabrics are characterized by their cooling effect, instantly lowering the surface temperature of the skin upon contact and providing a refreshing sensation.
At the 'Alermann' store, the Ice Bear Cooling Candy Cushion is available for 84,000 won, and the Ice Bear Cooling Pad is being sold for 99,000 won.
At 'Unhyeongung', as part of a summer promotion, cooling pads are available for 59,000 won and cooling comforters for 67,500 won at discounted prices. At 'Cozynest', the Denver Cooling Pad is offered at 97,500 won, and the Fresh Summer Cooling Comforter is available at 100,000 won, both at reasonable prices.
Additionally, a variety of cooling comforters are available, including the 'Klarheim' Freezing Cooling Comforter for 79,000 won, the Cooling Doll for 79,000 won, and 'The Chosun Hotel' Sylvia Cooling Quilt (Q) for 170,000 won.
Furthermore, until June 15, Gwangju Shinsegae is hosting the 'Cool Summer Ice Bedding Fair' at the event hall on the first floor of the main building, with brands such as Unhyeongung, Sesah, Alermann, Cozynest, and Laura Ashley participating.
In addition, customers can find fans that efficiently ventilate the air at reasonable prices.
On the 8th floor of the main building, 'Balmuda' is offering the all-season 'GreenFan' at a discounted price throughout June. The Balmuda GreenFan functions as both a fan and a circulator, and is notable for its low noise and energy efficiency, making it suitable for use in various spaces regardless of the season.
The 'GreenFan Studio' is available at a 17% discounted price of 499,000 won, and the 'GreenFan S 1800' is offered at an 18% discounted price of 449,000 won. In particular, the GreenFan Studio operates at a noise level of just 10dB when set to the lowest airflow, which is quieter than the sound of rustling leaves, making it ideal for quiet environments such as bedrooms or workspaces.
Kim Youngmin, head of the food and living team at Gwangju Shinsegae, stated, "With daytime temperatures rising rapidly, we have prepared a wide range of items to help beat the heat," and added, "We hope customers will prepare for the hot summer in advance at Gwangju Shinsegae."
