Daemyung Energy Signs 31 Billion KRW Anma Offshore Substation Contract... Equivalent to 45.75% of Last Year's Total Sales

Daemyung Energy announced on June 9 that it had signed a subcontract agreement for the substation construction of the Anma Offshore Wind Power project.

The contract amount is approximately 31 billion KRW, which is about 45.75% of Daemyung Energy's recent sales of 67.7 billion KRW. The contract period runs from August 31, 2025, to December 31, 2028.

Anma Offshore Wind Power has a capacity of 532MW, which is more than ten times larger than typical onshore wind power projects. The offshore site is scheduled to begin construction in August 2025, with commercial operation set to commence in 2029, marking the start of a full-fledged offshore wind power era.

Daemyung Energy, the leading wind power company in terms of market share, owns a 5.8% stake in Anma Offshore Wind Power. In addition to Anma Offshore Wind Power, development permits for the 400MW Gawi Offshore Wind Power project are also underway. The company has also established a total of 298MW of onshore wind power complexes and is currently operating eight power plants.

Recently, Daemyung Energy signed a subcontract agreement for the Bukchon BES Power Plant and electricity sales, amounting to 92.91% of its electricity sales, as well as a management and operation consignment contract accounting for 17.41%. As a result, the company continues to see an increase in orders across the entire renewable energy sector, including wind power, solar power, and ESS.

A company representative stated, "Construction of the Gokseong Wind Power Plant (42MW) is also scheduled to begin in the second half of this year, so we expect to achieve strong performance this year."
