Samsung Unveils Teaser Video for Galaxy Z Fold7
"This Year Marks a Turning Point... The Most Advanced Galaxy Z is Born"
Samsung Electronics is set to release the thinnest and lightest product ever in its foldable phone series.
On June 10, Samsung Newsroom unveiled the second teaser video for the next-generation foldable phone, "Galaxy Z Fold7," which will be introduced next month. The video was titled "Thinner, Lighter, and More Durable - Opening a New Era of Foldables with the Galaxy Z Series."
The video shows the Galaxy Z Fold with a slim body, unfolding and folding back again.
Samsung stated, "The most advanced Galaxy Z Series yet, thinner and lighter than any previous model, is about to be born." The company added, "With precise engineering, this new product boasts a high level of perfection in various everyday usage environments and will offer users an even more expansive ultra experience."
The Galaxy Z Fold series was first introduced in 2019. It combines the portability of a smartphone with the large screen of a tablet. Samsung explained, "To meet both needs, we designed a robust hinge and demonstrated that the display can be folded."
Samsung has stated that it has been dedicated to developing foldable phones that are both easy to carry and highly usable. Through the newsroom, the company said, "With every generation, we have made the Galaxy Z Series thinner, lighter, and more durable. This year, this journey is reaching a new turning point," raising expectations for the new foldable phone.
Previously, on June 4, the first teaser video for the Galaxy Z Fold7, titled "Unfolding the Ultra Experience," was released on the newsroom. The new phone is expected to feature a large screen suitable for multitasking, and Galaxy artificial intelligence (AI) will be optimized for the device to provide an intuitive experience.
Samsung Electronics will hold its Unpacked event in early July in New York, United States, to unveil the new foldable phones, Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7.
