This free program is designed to allow both visitors to Seokchon Lake and local residents to enjoy high-quality culture and arts in their daily lives. Songpa District operates a variety of performances and cultural programs at the Seokchon Lake Atelier, creating an open cultural space for both residents and visitors.

This planned performance series is centered around the universal theme of "stories"?something everyone can relate to, even though the genres, languages, and eras are different. Musicians from three different genres will interpret narratives and emotions of love and life through song in a special showcase. Over the course of three weeks, the performances will feature opera (June 15), musicals (June 22), and pansori (June 29), with each genre taking the stage for one week.

On the opera stage (June 15), the classical ensemble Beny& will deliver deep emotions of love and life through famous scenes and arias from operas. The cast includes soprano Lee Sujin, mezzo-soprano Yeo Jungyun, tenor Kim Eunkyo, baritone Kim Woojin, and pianist Won Minhee. The musical performance (June 22) will feature "4formance," a group of four male and female actors, presenting famous musical numbers with delicate emotional expression and powerful performances.

For the pansori stage (June 29), the "Panstory" team, led by singer Kim Songji, will weave together impressive passages from traditional pansori, creating a rich performance centered on emotions such as love, laughter, and conflict.

Citizens who wish to attend the performances can make advance reservations through the Seoul Public Service Reservation System. More detailed information is available on the Seokchon Lake Atelier Naver blog.

Seo Kangseok, Mayor of Songpa District, stated, "I hope this planned performance series will offer a special opportunity to experience a variety of artistic genres amidst the beautiful nature of Seokchon Lake," adding, "We will continue to plan diverse cultural and artistic content so that residents can easily access culture and the arts at any time and enjoy a richer life."
