Gangseo-gu, Seoul will host the '2025 Gangseo-gu Choir Festival' at 3:00 p.m. on June 12 at the Ujang Hall of Gangseo-gu Community Center.
This event, held under the theme of 'Communication and Harmony Through Music,' will bring together choirs from various generations to deliver a harmonious and moving performance. It is a cultural festival that the whole family can enjoy, and all residents are welcome to attend for free on a first-come, first-served basis.
This year's festival will feature seven choirs, including the Gangseo-gu Civic Choir and the Gangseo-gu Boys and Girls Choir. The participating choirs are made up of members from diverse age groups and backgrounds, ranging from youth to seniors, and contribute to the development of culture and the arts in the community. In addition to performances by each choir, the festival will be further enriched by a special performance from the popera group LA CLASSE.
Jin Kyohun, Mayor of Gangseo-gu, stated, "This choir festival is a place for Gangseo-gu residents to come together and communicate through music," adding, "The diverse colors and moving performances of each choir will have a profound impact on the community."
