"Life Shots with Horses"... Korea Racing Authority Busan-Gyeongnam's "Horseback Riding Snapshot" Gaining Popularity

The "Horseback Riding Snapshot" program at Korea Racing Authority LetsRunPark Busan-Gyeongnam is gaining popularity among engaged couples and families who wish to capture their once-in-a-lifetime wedding and family photos in a special way.

The horseback riding snapshot program, which began last year, was conceived based on the idea of a Korea Racing Authority employee preparing for marriage. The program was designed to ease the financial burden of weddings for young couples and to create fairytale-like, memorable experiences.

The program utilizes the horses and equestrian facilities of the racetrack park to provide romantic wedding and family photos for engaged couples and their families. Before the photo shoot, participants receive training on bonding with the horse (leading, riding, and controlling the horse) and wear helmets and protective gear to ensure a safe experience.

Now in its second year, the program has expanded its eligibility from engaged couples to include families who have had a child within the past five years. In addition to wedding photos, participants can also take maternity photos and multi-generational family photos with three generations. The program's popularity is evident, as inquiries have been coming in not only from Busan but also from other regions such as Seoul.

Jo Hanggeun and Kim Eungyeong, a couple who recently participated in a three-generation family photo shoot, said, "It felt unfamiliar to take photos with horses, but it was truly a special experience. Creating memories like this with three generations gathered together will remain a great source of happiness for us."

Um Youngseok, head of the Korea Racing Authority Busan-Gyeongnam Regional Headquarters, stated, "It is meaningful that we can offer the resources of the racetrack park to citizens as a new value. I am delighted that this program, which started from an employee's idea, has received so much love from many people."
